Journey into writing

I attended a masterclass with Matthew Luhn in 2015, and I remember hearing for the first time that Storytelling doesn’t always have to be a stream of consciousness but can have rules and structure.
As a young person with a head full of stories but any trust in my writing skills, this was my “catalyst,” my call to adventure!

Since then, while keeping up my career in animation as a CGI animator and then as a storyboarder, I’ve never stopped studying, following courses and reading about screenwriting until, eventually, in 2023, I landed a course at the School of Cinema Luchino Visconti in Milano!

I was finally in a Movie School; despite my insecurities, I was selected!
During the course, I fall in love with writing even more!
I wrote a short movie script that ended up in the Official selection of the Fellini Film Festival.

For now the journey is ongoing, if only I could say to that girl in March 2015:

“Thank you” for picking such a fantastic path to follow!

About me

Stories are our most fine instrument to spread empathy.
Recognizing your same feeling in characters who looks different from yourself is the easiest way to nourish your humanity.
I believe in the power of stories, especially if it’s for a child.
Sometimes a kid has anything but a story to feel belonging in a world of adults.
I’m a storyboarder for Peppa Pig! I love how the show keeps company with the young audience; also, I’m delighted to work for KarrotOne on this project.
I’ve already worked as a Storyboarder for other children’s shows and a Netflix live-action feature.
Before being a storyboarder, I worked as a CGI Character animator for Disney and Ubisoft tv-shows.
I started as a CGI Generalist after a master’s in CGI Animation and VFX in Rome; after that, I took a degree in Fine Arts in Italy and attended a Visual Story development course at Gobelins in Paris. While working, I followed online e-courses on advanced storyboards with Animation Mentor and various workshops and classes about storytelling with Pixar Mentors and Screenwriting with Netflix writers. I’ve also followed courses about screenwriting in both Scuola Holden in Turin and The Cinema School Luchino Visconti in Milano.
I’m deeply interested in finding the right pace and the most suitable tone to write and direct stories for a young audience.
